A Child's Hope Foundation  Orem, UT - 801.434.9200 - Paul Cook

A Child's Hope Foundation is committed to saving the lives of orphaned children who otherwise face a hopeless future. They provide orphaned children in developing countries a healthy, caring environment while seeking a loving home for them. With help, they can save lives, build families, and be a child's hope for love and belonging in this world. Although Trekking for Kids is not their organization, for the 2005 trek, A Child's Hope Foundation provided us with our largest single contribution by donating a very generous amount of money, toys, clothes, school supplies, and love, to our very wonderful orphans. Thank you so much ACHF! We couldn't have done it without you.

Bajio Restaurant  Pleasant Grove, UT - 801.785.8180 - Janelle Stowe

Bajio is a Mexican fast casual grill modeled after the laid-back valleys of Mexico. Fresh herbs, fruit juices and spices are the key to the distinct flavor boasted by this region's unique recipes. Come experience the fresh taste of the Mexican countryside. Four days before our 2005 trek, Janelle Stowe, owner of Bajio in Pleasant Grove, UT, donated the travel costs of two more auxiliaries with their much needed supplies for the orphans. This allowed us to take another 280 pounds of supplies as well as an additional 48 hours of manual labor working at the orphanage! Thank you Janelle!

Agua Ardiente's culinary staff knows how to offer the variety of flavors of each Spanish region in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. In April of 2005, Aqua Ardiente hosted Trekking for Kids' fundraising kickoff happy hour. It is estimated that over 200 people joined us and made a contribution that magical evening. We were able to graciously host Mr. Alejandro Rivera from the Peruvian Embassy during which meeting he provided us with an official invitation to Peru. None of this could have happened without all the help from Aqua Ardiente. Thank you.

The Cloud 9 Soaring Center is the largest paragliding and hang gliding training site in North America, and the best choice for your center to learn these exciting sports. Paragliding and hang gliding are the easiest and safest ways to experience flight in its simplest form. People of all ages and all levels of athletic ability can learn how to be safe and successful in these sports. Cloud 9 and AirUtah donated a day of tandem paragliding proceeds to the orphanage. Along with this gracious donation, Cloud 9 also donated five paragliding childrens kites for the kids. These kites are a wonderful way for blind children to develop their cordination as they are properly flown without the use of eyes. Instead they are best flown by using the senses of motion and balance coupled with hand dexterity. Thank you Cloud 9.
