Trek

Join Trekking for Kids on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Vietnam, while making a lasting impact for school children in an ethnic minority village.

From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the towering limestone cliffs of Lan Ha Bay, and from Ba Be National Park and the awe-inspiring Ban Gioc Waterfall, to remote ethnic villages in Cao Bang, this trek takes you off the beaten path and deep into the heart of Vietnams natural and cultural wonders. This is a trip of a lifetime opportunity to experience the must-sees in Vietnam as well as some incredibly unique and unusual hidden gems.

This unique and fully customized itinerary blends adventure, cultural connection, and giving back, making it more than just a trek; its an opportunity to experience Vietnam in a way few travelers do. Whether hiking through lush valleys, sharing meals in ethnic homestays, or making a difference in a childs life, this trip will leave you with memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

Ban Gioc Waterfall

We will hike, kayak, and cycle on this trip through Northern Vietnam. Our luggage will be transferred each day by vehicle. For two nights we will have the opportunity to stay in village homestays to learn more about the local ethnic group's cultural traditions and lifestyle in rural Vietnam. The Homestay will provide a comfortable separate sleeping room for the guests with beds and mosquito nets. Home cooked meals will be shared together. The other nights will be in hotels. We require that all Trekkers be in good physical condition. Trekkers must be able to hike for several hours and have an adventurous spirit.

Lan Han Bay

Our Work

Our group of Trekkers will spend a couple of days in the Cao Bang province with the children at an ethnic minority school in Northern Vietnam. We will be working in partnership with ChildFund Vietnam who has been working in this province since 2009. During our time at the school we will spend time getting to know the children, playing games, and improving the school's facilities.
