Hello,
On September 26, I will be traveling to Cusco, Peru to join a group of ladies from Trekking for Kids. I have committed to help raise funds to support projects in Escuela de Manchayhuayco, where there is a small school which serves blind orphan children in the Salkantay region, most of whom walk many miles each day and sit in unheated uninsulated classrooms. Our efforts will provide these children with the basic necessities of life. Food, appropriate shelter, (including beds and warm blankets) educational tools, warm clothing and medical supplies. We will also be making donations to other remote villages/schools that are in dire need of supplies for education and funding for medical support along our journey.
All of the volunteers are responsible for their own travel expenses. 100% of your donation to these projects funds materials and supplies needed. To become a part of this project, click on the link above to make a donation (in US funds).
